Programs creating care, stability, and opportunity for children, families, mothers, and elders.
Below are the opportunities YANA is actively raising support for. Through your prayers, partnership, and generosity, these initiatives can become a reality for the communities we serve.
Elder Companionship & Care Initiative
Many seniors in nursing homes experience loneliness and lack regular family visits. YANA plans to develop an initiative focused on restoring dignity and connection, and reminding them they are nit alone.
Future support may include:
• Birthday visits and small celebration gifts
• Christmas and holiday gifts
• Companionship visits
• Accompaniment to medical appointments
• Care packages and handwritten notes
Every visit, every gesture, and every conversation is a reminder that they are valued, remembered, and not alone.
Because no one should feel forgotten.
Child & Youth Support Initiative
Children often pay the highest price in times of war, crisis, and financial hardship. Many lose parents, stability, and access to education, safety, and opportunity. Without support, their future can be deeply affected.
YANA plans to develop programs that strengthen opportunity, education, and long-term support for vulnerable youth.
Future support may include:
• School supply distributions
• Backpack sponsorship programs
• Educational assistance and tutoring support
• After-school mentorship partnerships
• Seasonal support programs for families
• Safe housing and care support for orphaned and vulnerable children
Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and feel supported.
Because their future matters.
Because they deserve to know they are not alone.
When we invest in children, we invest in hope that lasts for generations.
Maternal & Special Needs Support Initiative
In developing many countries, pregnant women and children with disabilities lack access to proper medical care, early intervention, and long-term support.
Many women suffer from preventable pregnancy complications such as preeclampsia — often without early diagnosis or proper monitoring — leading to unnecessary maternal deaths. With education, screening awareness, and timely support, many of these outcomes can be prevented.
YANA plans to develop programs that care for mothers during pregnancy and provide compassionate, structured and provide compassionate, structured support for newborns and children with special needs — including those with disabilities and autism.
Future support may include:
• Prenatal care assistance and maternal health education
• Awareness and early screening support for high-risk pregnancy conditions such as preeclampsia
• Safe birth support partnerships
• Support for newborns born with disabilities
• Early intervention and therapy access (including autism support resources such as ABA where available)
• Parent education and caregiver support programs
Every mother deserves safe and dignified care.
Every child deserves opportunity, understanding, and the right support to thrive.
Because no family should feel alone during pregnancy, diagnosis, or special needs care.
Every initiative listed above is an opportunity to turn compassion into action.
With your prayers, partnership, and generosity, we can bring care, stability, and hope to those who need it most.
Because at YANA, no one should feel alone.
